How it plays

How StarBlast plays

You fly a small ship, shoot asteroids and collect the gems they drop. Gems buy upgrades; at your team's base you can donate them to raise the station's level and unlock bigger ships. Ships that are shot down burst into gems, so there is no blood.

Neuronality runs the game on its own site, starblast.io, and CrazyGames shows it inside a frame; on CrazyGames you first press "Go full screen". It has been on CrazyGames since 4 May 2021, with its last update there on 1 August 2025.

Your first match

  1. 0–1 min
Press Go full screen, then Play with Team mode selected.
  2. 1–5 min
Pick a team that is not full. Shoot asteroids and collect gems.
  3. 5–15 min
Spend gems on upgrades, then fly with your team towards an enemy station.

Money, chat and age

Strangers can only talk to you through 16 preset phrases, so there is no free text to read. The optional ECP pass costs money and removes adverts; nothing random is sold that we could find.

Team mode keeps a system running while players come and go, so there is no natural end to a session. Deciding on a number of rounds or a time limit first helps.

Good for

Someone who wants a busy public match without having to talk to anyone.

Harder for

A group of friends who want to stay together: there is no private room.
